This was a commission for a client who requested his Corgi character, Sterling, armed with a very distinct weapon.
A VZ-58 assault weapon.
Basically a re-engineered Czechoslovakian AK-47.
I happen to own one of these delightful weapons, so I know its little details. Yes, I had fun with this and took delight showing a happy canine.

Re-enigeneered... more like order from soviets to standardization, so convert all guns to their ammo. It turend whole assault rifle development upside down...
