Charlton Heston just died today. The man had an active career, on both screen and politics.Probably the best Spokesman for the NRA. Dispite the anti-gunners probably cheering his passing, the man was one of a few Hollywood actors that was hard core civil rights and reform.

He too hated political correctness, and I quote him

"Political Correctness is Tyranny with manners"

He was a hell of an actor, Ben Hur, Ten Commandments, Planet of the Apes, Soylent Green.....

Sadly he suffered and eventually died from Alzheimer's Disease.

Rest in Peace Charlton

Oh my god, This is incredibly saddening. I remember seeing both Ben-Hur and Planet of the Apes.

Actually I think he died from other causes that have yet to be disclosed . .
but the outcome is still the same: one of the most awesome guys America can boast just died.
